The food is so delicious and the devilled chicken is to die for! I also tried the pork today but the chicken is still my favourite! I am hoping to try a different protein each week. 😅I often get takeaway for my friends to try Sri Lankan food. The girls on the counter are super friendly and always take time to explain all the dishes in English as my Sinhalese is very limited. Big 👍!

I've been a regular at Café Anthony, usually dropping by once or twice a month. Recently, I've had a few letdowns that made me decide to finally share my thoughts. Whenever I order chicken kottu roti, I ask for some extra chicken gravy, offering to pay more for it. Sadly, my requests seem to fall on deaf ears. The staff's reaction makes it feel like I'm asking for something out of the ordinary. Having kothu roti without a side of meat curry just doesn't cut it for me. Unfortunately, my latest kothu roti was the worst I've ever had – lacking the usual flavors and moisture. Most places usually throw in a bit of meat curry for free with kothu roti, but I've never experienced that here. I hope the owner, if from Sri Lanka, understands the traditional way kothu roti is served. One more thing – I can't confirm, but I hope there's no MSG in the food. There are plenty of ways to make tasty dishes without it. We pay for quality, and I hope Café Anthony pays attention to these concerns. No proper photos to share, but I hope my feedback helps.

Serves an amazing variety of Sri Lankan cuisine, few of my favourites are Chicken Kothu, veg Kothu and their curries, displaying their authenticity and quality of food. The combination of affordable prices and generous portion sizes is always a great find, which offers value for money and satisfaction. The friendly and accommodating staff further enhance the overall dining experience, making us feel welcomed and appreciated.
